UPDATE, OCTOBER 1, 2019 — We are so pleased to announce that Alissa has been located safely and is now with family.
According to Alissa’s brother, she has been found near the Hope Mission area.
He writes, “I gotta give a huge thank you to everyone who shared and helped look for her, and a big thank you to all the kind people outside of the Hope Mission that helped point out nearly exactly where she was. Thanks again, from my family and I. ❤”
EDMONTON — The Edmonton Police Service and the missing’s family are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 27 year old Alissa Melnyk out of the Edmonton, Alberta area.
Alissa was last seen on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 in the area of 134 Avenue and Fort Road in Edmonton itself.
She was last seen wearing dark grey sweatpants, a black shirt and a black hoodie.
According to family she has a special needs development delay and functions at a younger age. There are major concerns for her well-being.

Did she have a suitcase with her? If so I’m fairly sure I saw her at the fort road 711 around that time.

Has she been found yet? I was followed the night before on 128 and fort road by a red SUV and there was a black car with tinted windows around the corner waiting.

Hello I am Alissa’s Brother, I found my sister last night down town sorta by hope mission area she is with me now and she is safe and in good care.
