UPDATED, AUGUST 15, 2019 — We are pleased to inform everyone that Kayla has been located and is safe.

Thank you to all those who helped us spread the word about her initial disappearance.


EDMONTON — The Edmonton Police Service and the missing’s family are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 23 year old Kayla Isabel Brule-Wapahoo out of the Edmonton, Alberta area.

Kayla was last seen on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 on the south side of Edmonton itself. She was going to meet up with family at 6 pm, and her last text was sent to family at 6:30 pm. Kayla never ended up showing up, and family has not heard from her since this occurrence.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, a blue shirt, a black jacket, dark coloured running shoes and had a black back pack with her.

Kayla is also known to go by Izzy or Isabelle.

    Why is the wait so long to let the public know aug 3 is a long time ago to be missing people should be released right away not 10 days later the wait is to long the 48 hour missing rule should be changed to many people missing time and evidence is crucial in the first couple days

    With two serial killers in Edmonton this news should have been released sooner!! Give your heads a shake Edmonton Police…its like your not even trying to catch these killers!!
